The Rippon Lodge Historic Site on 15520 Blackburn Road has played an essential part in Prince William County history since 1747. The colonial home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is the second oldest residence in the county. The grounds are open sunrise to sunset, and tours are offered by appointment May to October on Thursday to Monday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
