There’s nothing better than breakfast; unless it’s brunch. In Woodbridge, VA, we have plenty of brunch places and breakfast restaurants to tempt you with. The best breakfast places near us are on this list!

World of Omelets and Waffles Breakfast Restaurant

Open from 6am until 10pm, this is a place where you can get your breakfast food fix at any time of day. Don’t be put off by the way this place looks on the outside: the food is worth it. The chicken and waffles are to die for, the omelets are gorgeous, and the staff are as friendly as they come.

Nearly everything they serve is customizable, so don’t be afraid to ask for exactly what you want. The hashbrowns are crispy, the bacon is always cooked to perfection, and the toast is hot and just right.

The Secret Garden Cafe

Just up the road in Occoquan, at 404 Mill St., you’ll find the Secret Garden Cafe. Open from 10am until 8pm, this is a great place for a leisurely brunch. On Sundays, they are really busy, though, so consider making reservations.

Once you’re in, be sure to get the almond french toast topped with berries, potatoes, the Monte Cristo sandwich, or the Spanish breakfast. The bread is a particular favorite, and the prices here are very reasonable. If you want something not “breakfasty,” try the crab cake sandwich.

Grind N’ Crepe

Open from 7am until 5pm, this place at 301 Commerce St. in Occoquan is full of character. You can get literally anything you want or can imagine stuffed in a crepe, from banana and Nutella to ham and cheese. The Oreo crepe is a local favorite, but only choose this if you really like sweet stuff!

The coffee here is very good and the perfect complement to their crepes, and there are plenty of milk options to go with it. If you don’t fancy crepes, try their Açai bowls, which are great but do take a little extra time to prepare.

Farm Cafe

We’ve saved the best for last. Open at 7am and closed at 3pm, this cafe at 14850 Farm Creek Dr. in Woodbridge is a hidden gem. You won’t find friendlier staff anywhere, and you should expect the very best quality food there is. We recommend the breakfast hash and the pancakes, but you’d be hard-pressed to find anything on the menu that isn’t delicious.

The vibe here is very local and friendly–everyone knows everyone else, and the menu is no-frills and easy to navigate. The western omelet is great, the hash browns are crispy, and the French toast platter is delicious. If you’re more in the mood for lunch food, the sandwiches are good and the fries are always hot, crispy, and plentiful.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so if you’re ready for some, we recommend trying out one of these great locations in our community. And while you’re here, visit another community stalwart: Koons Woodbridge Ford.
