MOD Pizza

MOD Pizza is a really nice spot for a great pizza served up by friendly staff at a reasonable price. They have lots of choice here, and you’ll find them at 13800 Smoketown Rd. in the Smoketown plaza. They are open from 10:30 AM until 10 PM every night, though they stay open until 11 on Fridays and Saturdays. And if you order from their Value(s) Menu, a portion of what you buy goes to support the joint’s nonprofit charity partner. We really like their Mad Dog, which is ground beef and sausage with pepperoni, mozzarella, and red sauce. The Tristan it’s also really good. It’s mozzarella, asiago, mushrooms, and roasted red peppers with a really delicious pesto drizzle on top. We recommend there a Greek salad to go with it. The salad is Romain lettuce covered in feta cheese, black olives, red onions, sweet peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, chickpeas, and a Greek herb and tahini dressing.

Astoria Pizza

This is an amazing spot where you’ll find great New York-style pies, subs, gyros, and a lot more. You will find them at 13436 Jefferson Davis Highway. They are open from 9 AM to 9 PM on Friday through Sunday. On Monday through Thursday, they don’t open until 11 AM. This place has been a community staple since 1976. All their dough is homemade and hand-tossed, and all their pizzas are made with fresh ingredients.Choose from a small, medium, a large, or get your pizza by the slice. They offer all the usual pizza toppings plus some Greek specialties, like gyro meat and feta cheese. We like their combination pizza, which is pepperoni, Italian sausage, green peppers, ground beef, mushrooms, and onions. Their gyro is premium Kronos lamb or beef, and whether you get your gyro on a salad, on a pizza, or in a sandwich, you’ll love it.

Padrino’s Pizza

This place has lots of room, lots of TVs, and really delicious standard pizza pies and sandwiches. It’s a great place to go if you just wanna hang out with some friends or take the family out for the night. You’ll find them in the Center Plaza at 4341 Dale Blvd. They’re open from 11 AM until 9:30 PM Tuesday through Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, they are open from 11 AM until 10:30 PM. They give their staff a little break on Mondays as they don’t open until noon and close by 9:30 PM. Try their New York White Pizza, which is a garlic base on a chewy, hand-tossed crust, covered with ricotta and mozzarella. We also love their stromboli and calzone, and they have lots of specialty pasta, appetizers, and other options to satisfy any pallet.
